Terminology:
Pixel resolution The more pixels the sharper the image.
Camera sensitivity The thermal sensitivity in the FLIR T-Series is < 50 mK. With a better sensitivity (lower value) the camera can capture the finest image details even at low temperature differences. Better detector sensitivity is particularly important for building applications where temperature differences are typically lower.
Thermal Fusion FLIR's Thermal Fusion, merging visual and infrared images, allows for easier identification and interpretation of infrared images. Define whether to display areas above or below a predefined temperature threshold, or a temperature interval.
Picture-in-Picture Create an infrared overlay on your visual image. Scalable, moveable and resizable. This feature helps to spot and highlight sensitive or dangerous temperature developments and makes report interpretation easy even for a person unfamiliar with infrared.
Text and voice annotations Text comments can be made from a pre-defined list or using the touch screen. A headset can be connected to make up to 60 seconds of voice annotations.
Sketch annotations Use the touch screen as pen and paper to add sketch annotations.
Touch screen 3.5" LCD touch screen plus stylus brings interactivity and user comfort to a new level. It allows you to add sketching and graphical marks directly on the screen.
Measurement Modes
· Movable measurement spots
· Automatic hot/cold detection; auto hot or cold spot meter markers within area
· Isotherms; an isotherm replaces certain colors in the scale with a contrasting color, which simplifies detecting a problem. Detect high, low and interval temperatures. An isotherm has a width and a temperature level which can be moved and stretched up and down in the scale.
· ΔT (Delta T) calculation. ΔT means the difference of the results between two measurement tools or one tool and a manually set reference temperature.
· Object parameters; possible to input values for emissivity, reflective apparent temperature, relative humidity, distance and atmospheric temperature.
ThermaTrak If your IR camera is lost or stolen, ThermaTrak can help you track where it is.
Panorama Function Allows user to piece together normal sized images to create one large image for a wide angle view.
FLIR QuickReport allows users to organize and analyze the radiometric images from its infrared cameras and present them in a report in just three easy steps.
FLIR Reporter is a powerful software for creating compelling and professional reports with powerful new TripleFusion, Picture-in-Picture, and the latest Microsoft operating system and Word compatibility. With FLIR Reporter it´s easy to create customized reports, such as insertion of logos, etc. The ReportWizard guides you step-by-step in combining all IR inspection data - infrared and visual images, temperature measurements, and text notes – into a professional, easy-to-interpret maintenance report.
FLIR Tools is a software suite specifically designed to provide an easy way to update your camera and create inspection reports. Import images from your camera to your computer. Layout, move, and resize measurement tools on any infrared image. Create PDF imagesheets for images of your choice. Add headers, footers, and logos to imagesheets.
