Pocket sized and economically priced, this surface roughness tester determines both roughness parameters Ra and Rz accurately within a wide measuring range. The piezo-electric pickup stylus with diamond tip assures reliable measurements within tolerances that conform to ISO class 3. Surface roughness parameter Ra is computed to conform to ISO and Rz is computed to DIN.
Easy to use the SRG-1000 surface roughness tester operates on various surfaces, not only flat, but also outer cylinder, outer cone, grooves, and recesses greater than 80x30mm. Readings are achieved with the push of a button. External calibration of the roughness values is possible by means of a calibration button, which makes adjustments simple and quick. Three cutoff lengths are easily selected via the friendly interface.
